How to Use  
How to Use

To Activate:

Place the metal disc with your fingers and thumbs and press until it clicks and starts crystallisation. Once all cloudy, squeeze the heat pad to make it soft and ready to use.

To Recharge:

Place the heat pad in a bowl of boiling water for around 10 minutes until all the crystals have dissolved.

Caution:

  • DO NOT heat in microwave.
  • DO NOT leave unattended when in boiling water & don't let pot boil dry.
  • DO NOT use if punctured or damaged.

One hit wonders

First use they were fantastic, but after a "recharge" they only last about 10 minutes.

That definitely isn't the performance we'd expect. The reusable hand warmers should provide around 45 minutes of heat when they're fully reset according to the instructions, so it sounds like something may not be quite right.

Well Done!

Before the Otex photography gloves I used neoprene fishing glove which had the tips of the thumb and index finger removed. Brrr. I've used the Otex a couple of times now and found them comfortable and warm ... but not too warm. The neoprenes did get hot once the day warmed a little (10C) but I didn't notice that with the Photography Gloves.
