XT-801 Photography Gloves

I have been looking forward to these.
They fit 'like a glove'', are comfortable and well padded.
Gloves have been the scourge of my photography life for years and I'd been looking around for some after seeing various promos of overseas brands. Expensive imports that they are.
So it was a pleasure discovering OTEX was an Ozzie brand, and they looked good on the webpage and I took the gamble.
So glad i did. These feel good on, and while I haven't úsed' them yet, I they look and feel like they will do the job.
That I can clip them together when stowing is great. I have, like socks, single gloves with no partners. Not anymore :-)

I am absolutely delighted to receive my gloves! They exceeded my expectations in every way. There is no feature they have missed out – they are breathable, washable, waterproof, durable, eco-friendly and extremely comfortable. With their 3M ThinsulateTM insultation, removable index finger feature and thumb pads, they will be perfect for photo shoots in extreme weather conditions.
The friendly personalised service that Mark provides as well, is something that often gets forgotten by some sellers. I highly recommend OTEX gloves, and if mine ever wear out (and that’s extremely unlikely!), I will certainly be buying another pair.

I used my new gloves for the first time whilst bushwalking last week. They are noticeably warmer than my usual gloves and much more convenient for taking quick photos. You tend to warm up, especially when walking up-hill so sometimes these gloves are too warm but it’s better to have the warmth when you need it.

It's great to be able to keep hands warm, just having the finger tips exposed on a cold mornings' shoot.

The service was very quick for the delivery, really comfortable fit.
I haven’t had to use them in really cold weather yet but I will soon in the autumn Arctic in Canada.

I purchased the XT850 Photography Gloves for my wife, and she is ecstatic with how great they are. Taking outdoor shots in Melbourne can be a very chilly experience and these gloves make it a not so chilly experience. Forget the rest keep your fingers warm with the best.

Great fit. Toasty warm. The finger tips are awesome. Only problem is I keep finding lost hair pins with the magnets - lol.

Just as promised, light, breathable, warm and functional. Glad I bought them for winter, nights and dawn shoots.

Great gloves, very warm. I got the largest size -XL - for my husband and they are only just big enough. Perhaps consider making larger sizes.

Warm and comfortable, easy to use

I bought these gloves hoping they would be ok for photography in cold and wet conditions. They are vastly better than I imagined! The fit is perfect inline with the sizing, and they keep my hands warm and dry. The service from Otex was outstanding as well.

Just received my new gloves and the sizing and comfort is excellent. The size chart was spot on and I’m glad I used it.
Just need the cold weather now to put them through a proper test.

I have tried 2 other winter photography gloves over the past 4 years. The touchscreen functionality in my Otex actually works. I was on a photoshoot out in -10C temperature with significant wind for 4 hours. My hands stayed comfortable and functional.

These are the best of the best when it comes to solving the "I want to use a device but not take my whole glove off" problem!

The thumb and finger tips are held back with a magnet so they don't get in the way. Should be great for photography in the snow. I like that they are an Australian company.

I ordered the wrong size, replaced pioltely and effortlessly with the correct size so easily. Great product

I'm really happy with these gloves. They fit well and the flip lock fingers are really handy. I bought these for an upcoming winter trip but have proven very useful in the Sydney weather, keeping my hands warm but not too hot.

After struggling to enjoy wildlife photography in the winter months, I came across OTEX and decided to give them a try. My hands are super sensitive to the cold, but with the OTEX XT-801 Photography Gloves, I can now head out, even on frosty mornings. Great to have the dexterity and not have to constantly remove gloves.

Now I can do winter photography without suffering cold fingers.

These are the best pair of gloves I have owned and will hopefully give me years of good use. The finger tip openings are great and the magnetic hold-backs ingenious. I am looking forward to testing these when out in the cold.

Super warm even on my eternally cold hands. Waterproofing is yet to be "seriously" tested - so far, so good. Otherwise, they work as advertised. The finger/thumb freedom is excellent - just what an outdoor photographer has needed (for the last 50 years).

Bought a pair of gloves, were a little big so contacted for return. Sent the old ones back and new pair arrive super fast. Great product, great service
