After almost 2 months I received the gloves and the beanie. Ordering products from Ausstralia sent to Belgium, an European Union country, meant that the package was retained by customs for additional charges (customs duties, VAT and the fee for the customs declaration agency). This issue was not mentioned on the OTEX website and lead me to pay approximately an additoanal 50% of the order. In the end the package got delivered.
The gloves and beanie give a good impression : solid, warm and practical in use. I look forward to a cold environment to test it.
The support and replies from OTEX to my quesitons related to the customs issues was initially low. Once OTEX understood the problem, I received the support and answers to my questions. The follow up of OTEX was great. To compensate for the additional costs, OTEX offered me a 70 $ gift card.
I also understood that OTEX is looking into the customs duties related to imports from Australia into the European Union for European customers. 's
